History
the hall was built in 1841 as Carnkie Wesleyan chapel.
The walls of the chapel were built about 10 years before the society could afford the roof.
In 1905 the chapel became the Sunday school as the new chapel premises were built at the roadside.
the hall was purchased in the 1970's from the church and the village hall was born.
The committee has extended & improved the hall over the years to include a kitchen, toilets and storage.
